New starter spotlight: Rhys Morris
It’s exciting times this month as we welcome not one but two new faces to the team!
First up is Rhys Morris. Before recruitment Rhys was a personal trainer focusing on helping people achieve their goals in the gym. Having left the barbells behind, he is now looking to help the Development community of Manchester achieve their next career aspiration.
In true Socium-style we asked him a few quick-fire questions to get better acquainted:
What’s your favourite karaoke song?
Pump it by black-eyed peas
Who would be your ultimate dinner party guest?
It would have to be Christiano Ronaldo because I’ve always admired him ever since I was little and first started watching football. It would be great to meet a lifelong idol.
What would you say is your greatest achievement?
Learning to swim because it took me years! I had been struggling to swim since I started learning at around 7 years old but now, I can swim over 40 metres.
What are you most likely to be found doing?
Chest at the gym
What are you least likely to be found doing?
Legs at the gym!
What’s your most embarrassing moment?
I was working at a conference event years ago as a waiter and during one of the speeches I was collecting empty glasses from the tables. My tray was full with half-finished drinks so I was about to make my way back to the kitchen however one of the drinks wasn’t balanced correctly and it was like a domino effect with the other glasses! I ended up dropping both the tray and its contents – not the best timing as the room was nearly silent and everyone noticed!
